What is "Ancient Evil?"

The Nephilyim Culture

In Chapter four of the Book of Genesis, we saw how Ancient Evil used Cain's resentment over the inadequacy of his sacrifice to Yahuah to cause him to murder his brother Abel. Egyptian and subsequent mythologies attempted to turn the story of Cain and Abel, with Cain (Osiris) being made out to be the "good" being and Abel/Seth being made out to look "evil." This is not an uncommon trait as Isaiah enumerated on that in the following verses:

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! (Isaiah 5:20-21 Cepher)

Isaiah understood quite well how evil operates in this world. Ancient Evil made Cain wise in his own eyes, causing him to create a culture of evil at the end of Genesis 4. Cain and his descendants built cities, expanded agriculture, including the production of grains and the raising of livestock. While hard work is not a sin, not acknowledging the place of Yahuah in the production is a sin. However, the sin did not end with the building of cities. To increase his population, the family of Cain was the first to embrace the practice of ploygamy (Genesis 4:19). They created music (Genesis 4:21) and they learned to handle iron and brass (Genesis 4:21). Cain's family created the first ancient "industrial revolution."

While the Bible does not cover the apparent conflict between Seth and Cain, clearly one existed. Both sides continued to procreate... something Genesis 5 concerns itself with but only to demonstrate that Noah's family line was pure. This is a fact that Moses made sure we understood:

These are the generations of Noach: Noach was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noach walked with Elohiym. (Genesis 6:9 Cepher, emphasis the author's)

The first six verses of Genesis 6 outlines the declination humanity went though in the culture of Cain. The population of the earth swelled because it is apparent that humanity became obscessed with sexuality. It went down a level deeper when the "sons of the elohyim" (literally: bena h'elohyim (Hebrew: בני האלהים)) started adding to the procreation process. They were enough similar to the human genome that when they had sexual enounters with human women, those women would have their children. Unfortunately, their offspring became the Nephilyim (Hebrew: הנפלים). The word got translated "giants" in Genesis 6:4 as follows:

There were Naphaliym in the earth in those days; who also gathered afterward, when the sons of Elohiym came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children unto them, the same became warriors and tyrants which were from everlasting, mortal men of the name. (Genesis 6:4 Cepher)

Stories like this are not limited to ancient times. In the first season of the TV Show Grimm episode 18 (titled "Cat and Mouse" at 26:44, ironic the episode number is 18 = 6 + 6 + 6, suggesting even this early that this would be a theme for the program), we see the following scene:

These beasts, called "Hundjägers" on the program, share a lot of similarities with the biblical Nephilyim. Even the idea that they eat their mothers from inside the womb is borrowed from ancient stories of Nephilyim. It is no wonder that Yahuah repented that he had made man (Genesis 6:6). As a result, Yahuah made the following determination:

And Yahuah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for I repent that I have made them. (Genesis 6:7 Cepher)

Were it not for Noah, Yahuah would have destroyed the whole of humanity and left the earth as He found it. Thankfully, Noah was a "preacher of righteousness" (to quote the Apostle Peter: II Peter 2:5) who would be the genetic foundation of the "new world."

The lesson of these first chapters of Genesis is how Ancient Evil was able to corrupt the human genome, introducing the genetics of the bena h'elohyim (Hebrew: בני האלהים) to create a corrupt being called a Nephilyim.

These stories would have been relegated to the "dustbin of history" were it not for a couple of mentions in Yahushua's (Jesus') Olivet Discourse:

But as the days of Noach were, so shall also the coming of the Son of A’dam be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noach entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of A’dam be. (Matthew 24:37-39 Cepher)
And as it was in the days of Noach, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of A’dam. They did eat, they drank, they married women, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noach entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; But the same day that Lot went out of Cedom (KJV: Sodom) Yahuah rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of A’dam is revealed. (Luke 17:26-30 Cepher)

When we consider these warnings from Yahusha (Jesus), it is apparent that Ancient Evil will again attempt to destroy the human genome by corruption. When we see a COVID-19 vaccine containing tissue from aborted babies and from other animals, we see it as an attempt once again to corrupt the human genome, bringing forth judgment. It is also interesting that in Luke's version of Yahusha's (Jesus') discourse, that Lot's flight from the wicked city of Sodom is recounted. We will discuss this situation in an upcoming article.
